Apple 27-inch Cinema HD Display is a screen 27 “with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440, supports Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and also 1280 x 720 pixels natively. This screen is also an LED screen backlight Social (In- plane Switching) with a glossy coating that is more efficient and more power than the LCD contrast on the old Cinema Display.

IPS technology is used similar to the one on the iMac and the iPad, giving up to 178 degrees angle of view without distortion. Apple also added a light sensor to adjust brightness and contrast are dynamically according to room lighting conditions. This new Cinema Display also has iSight camera, speakers (with subwoofer), microphone, and USB 2.0 hub three times, including a universal MagSafe adapter that can recharge the MacBook and MacBook Pros. The only connector that is available only mini DisplayPort.
